生きていくと出くわす数々のピンチ。

状況や強度によるけれども往々にしてそれは、これまでの自分を脱ぐきっかけにもなるので、丁重にお迎えしなくてはいけないのかもしれない。

もしピンチに直面したならば、悠然と古い皮を脱ぎにかかるというのが（全くできないが）理想だし、「嘆くvs面白がる」ならば、できれば「面白がる」に軍配を上げたいなどと思う。

そしてさらに考えてみるに、不幸中の幸いというのもあるが、それより一段上がる感じの「ピンチだけどとびきりの幸運」ということもありそうだ。

窮地だからこその幸運、というか。それは、甘美な混沌。稀なる祝福。劇的事件。日々のピンチをなんとか越えていかねばならない我々は、力みがちであちこち凝っている。それを少しでもほぐすために傍におきたいものはなんだろうかと考える。ドラマティックやトキメキのかけらとか、裏や斜交いからの視点とか。最強はユーモアだな、とか思っている。

Life presents us with countless crises.

Depending on the situation and intensity, these moments often become opportunities to shed our old selves. Perhaps we should greet them with respect.

If faced with a pinch, the ideal (though utterly impossible for me) would be to calmly begin shedding the old skin. Given the choice between “lamenting vs. finding it amusing,” I'd prefer to side with “finding it amusing.”

And upon further reflection, while there is such a thing as a silver lining, there also seems to be something a step above that—a “pinch that turns into extraordinary luck.”

Fortune born precisely from the depths of crisis, you might say. That is sweet chaos. A rare blessing. A dramatic event. We who must somehow navigate daily crises tend to tense up and get knotted all over. What do I want by my side to loosen that tension even a little? Fragments of drama or excitement, perhaps? Perspectives from behind or at an angle? I think humor is the ultimate remedy.
